Please park at Monte Vista school- the Boys & Girls Club will shuttle you in to the farm.   Directions and more info are on the Solutions attachment.

This week: The Vista After Five Rotary and Rotary Club of Vista will meet Tuesday April 3rd. upstairs at the Vista Boys & Girls Club 5:30 PM  410 W California Ave Vista CA 92083.

The speaker will be Rob Weinberg.

Entitled “Marketing your way out of this mess”, this 20 minute PowerPoint presentation provides solid nuts-and-bolts advice on how any business or organization can effectively get the word out to millions of people while working within a budget of just $1,000. 

His credentials include:

· 30 years as a marketing professional (10 as principal of a New York City marketing agency)

· Authorship of two “How to” books on marketing for the novice

· Weekly columnist of a free marketing advice column entitled “Ask Mr. Marketing”, published by the Pomerado Newspaper Chain (and available at www.askmrmarketing.com)

 

His career has also included a wide range of Rotary-related experiences, including:

· Seven years as publicity chair for the Rancho Bernardo Sunrise club

· Five years as a trainer at SoCal PETS

· Frequent contributor to Rotarian Magazine

·  RYLA facilitator

·  Helping coordinate District 5340’s current billboard marketing efforts

· Paul Harris fellow 

His marketing agency also recently completed the new outward-facing web site (www.rotarysandiego.com) for District 5340.
